Who is God? (Part 9) God is Creator.

As Creator, God is an artist, initiator, ground-breaking scientist and design trend-setter. Originality and uniqueness exude from His core. What beauty and awe are inspired through all He created.

Exodus 20:11
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
John 1:3
All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
Romans 11:36
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen
Colossians 1:16
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

It is an honor to be invited to relate with the God of all creation. Our response is a reflection of the image we hold of God’s character. As we perceive His magnitude and majesty, we should always be eager to respond with acceptance, praise, and thanksgiving for His tender care over us.

Francis Chan says it this way, “An accurate picture of God is vital to everything.” “We simply cannot function properly in this world without a proper view of God.”  [You and Me Forever p.21; Workbook p. 23]
